Beth Holladay's analog collage pieces call to mind a nostalgic, 1950's pastel world with deeper undertones of political commentary. Beth collects and meticulously hand-cuts images from early 20th century ephemera in order to revise, combine, and defy them. Isolated and decontextualized, these artifacts of the past become something both fresh and familiar. Beth currently lives in Baltimore, Maryland and is a member of the international art collective, Versus.
Beth earned a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and Photography from Union University, and a Masters in Art Education from the University of Louisville. She is currently available for collaborations and commissions.
